After one day of normal wear and tear with my salon effect nails I am already experiencing some minor chipping on my thumb and index fingers. I do have to correct myself and say that the packaging states “lasts up to 10 days” up to being the key words. I am just doing normal day to day activities nothing extreme, I am not even swimming this week because it’s too cold and I usually do that almost every day so the nails are not being subjected to harsh chemicals like chlorine. With chipping after one day I am not sure how these will hold up but I will say that the next time I use these (if I ever do depending on results) I may apply a top coat to them, if you are going to go ahead now and try a top coat make sure you do it with a color/pattern that does not have white in it, as it may cause yellowing of the white.
